Our clients, frequently consist of very analytical, intelligent people, many of whom come here to us for treatment because they have not found success in 12-Step programs. Malibu Horizon is in no way opposed to the 12-Steps. In fact, we offer patients the opportunity to attend AA meetings, if they choose. We can introduce a patient to the 12-Step program, if they are interested. Otherwise, they are provided a therapy based treatment model, which is an alternative to the 12 Steps.
